May 11th, 1858 Village of Wilson Incorporated
February 12th, 1846 Wilson Collegiate Institute incorporated by the Board of Regents
December 4th, 1824 first post office established at the home of Reuben Wilson
July 9th, 1901 Fire destroys the entire north side of Young Street
August 9th, 1908 Fire destroys the Tower House Hotel
June 12th, 1876 first passenger trains pass through Wilson on the RW&O
August 30th, 1924 First Fireman’s Field Day
